OpenClaw 先問世，於 2025 年 11 月 24 日發布，我們在 2026 年 11 月 8 日查看時有 394,193 顆 GitHub 星。它目前由非營利組織 OpenClaw Foundation 管理。Hermes Agent 由 Nous Research 於 2026 年 2 月 25 日推出，到同一天已累積 261,682 顆星。OpenClaw 是以 Node 執行的 TypeScript；Hermes 則是 Python。

遙測

這是最明顯的差異。OpenClaw 預設每天連線到專案伺服器，傳送你的版本、作業系統、Node.js 版本和 CPU 架構、一個不含識別碼的安裝計數以及更新報告；伺服器還會記錄大致位置。功能統計需要主動開啟，而 update.checkOnStart: false 可以關閉其餘部分。

沙箱

App 與安裝

缺點

  • Setup expects comfort with the command line and with running your own server
  • Model costs are on you unless you use free models, and hosted web search, images and speech need a paid Nous Portal plan or your own keys
  • iMessage needs a separate BlueBubbles server on a Mac
  • No native mobile app; Android support is a command-line install through Termux

缺點

  • Model costs are on you and can run high: testers and users have reported spending over $100 in a day with expensive models
  • Sandboxing is off by default and the agent can run commands on the host unless you turn on approvals
  • Setup and upkeep expect comfort with the command line; maintainers warn it is risky for non-technical users
  • Broad access to email, messages and the system makes prompt injection and malicious third-party skills a real risk
